Firefighters Continue Massive Warehouse Fire Battle
One week after a massive fire erupted at the Lineage Logistics cold storage warehouse in Boyle Heights, firefighters continue working to extinguish stubborn hot spots and secure the damaged structure.
Returning to the scene on June 24, 2026, crews could still be seen using multiple ladder trucks and elevated water cannons to soak sections of the heavily damaged warehouse.
Cleanup operations remain limited due to the dangerous conditions inside the building. Officials continue to contend with falling debris, unstable structural conditions, and large quantities of spoiled food left inside the facility.
With much of the exterior sheet metal now gone, the building’s massive storage racks—estimated to stand roughly 50 feet tall and stretch hundreds of feet in length—are clearly visible from outside.
Piles of foam insulation that survived the fire can also be seen scattered around the property as crews continue overhaul operations.
Video from the scene highlights the ongoing mutual aid effort, with ladder trucks from multiple fire departments continuing to assist Los Angeles Fire Department personnel in what has become one of the region’s most complex industrial firefighting operations.
A shift change around 3:00 p.m. brought additional engines and fresh crews to relieve firefighters who have been working around the clock since the fire began.
