One Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On 110 Freeway

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision Sunday night on the 110 Freeway in the Vermont Vista area of Los Angeles.

The crash was reported at approximately 8:12 p.m. on September 7, 2026, on the southbound 110 Freeway at Imperial Highway.

CHP officers and Los Angeles firefighters responded to the scene and found a multi-vehicle wreck. One person, believed to have been ejected during the collision, was found on the freeway near the wreckage.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP shut down the southbound freeway while officers investigated the fatal collision. No additional information regarding the victim or what led up to the crash was immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
