Santa Clarita: Semi-Truck Cab Burns On Busy Freeway

10.10.2019 | 2:29 AM | SANTA CLARITA – The cab of a semi-truck burned on a busy freeway, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire on the northbound I-5 Freeway near McBean Parkway around 2:29 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a semi-truck with heavy fire showing from the cab.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames before they could spread to the trailer but the cab was consumed by fire.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
