35-Acre Fire Destroys Structure In Riverside County
A vegetation fire burned 35 acres and destroyed one structure Tuesday evening in Riverside County before firefighters were able to stop its forward spread.
The fire was reported on October 6, 2026, in the 47200 block of Rancho Fallbrook Road, prompting a response from CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
According to CAL FIRE, the blaze reached approximately 35 acres and was 10% contained. Firefighters successfully stopped the forward rate of spread, preventing the flames from advancing further.
One structure was destroyed during the fire. Authorities reported no injuries or evacuations.
Fire crews were expected to remain at the scene overnight, continuing to strengthen containment lines and conduct mop-up operations along the fire’s perimeter.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
