Murder-Suicide Reported in Summerlin Office Building

DETAILS:
- LVMPD is investigating a murder-suicide scene that occurred in the City National Bank Building in the Summerlin area.
- The shooter entered the office late Monday morning, shot two individuals, and then turned the gun on himself. The motive is not known.
- LVMPD Sheriff Kevin McMahill stated in a press conference that there was no longer a threat to the community.
- Officers swept the building to determine if there were any further threats. They evacuated the people left in the building to a conference room in the Red Rock Resort.
- Officers located the shooting suspect’s vehicle in the parking lot of the office building and searched. It is unknown if anything was found to aid in the investigation.
- UPDATE: LVMPD Officers were responding to the Prince Law Offices on West Charleston. Shots were fired during a child custody deposition. The shooter killed his son’s ex-wife and her new husband.
