DETAILS:

 

  1. According to witnesses, the male driver of a Toyota FJ Cruiser was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Olympic Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle.
  2. The vehicle careened onto the center divider, causing significant damage as it collided with two trees, completely severing them.
  3. The FJ rolled and landed on its side.
  4. The driver was able to get out as a fire started.
  5. The first Responders found heavy smoke coming from inside the cabin and put the fire out within 15 minutes.
  6. The driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
  7. The driver is suspected of DUI and will be evaluated at the hospital.
  8. Westbound Olympic Parkway is closed for the cleanup.
