Houston: Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Freeway Car Fire
01.20.2020 | 3:55 AM | HOUSTON – A car burst into flames on a freeway but was quickly extinguished, early Monday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle fire on the Southbound 59 near the Crosstimbers entrance around 3:555 AM.
Crews arriving on scene located a vehicle in the center median engulfed in heavy fire.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and located the female driver uninjured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
