One Dead, Three Injured In Shooting After Softball Game In Humble

One man was killed and three others were injured Sunday night following a shooting involving people gathered for softball in Humble, Texas.

On October 18, 2026, at approximately 9 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a weapons disturbance in the 9800 block of Wyatt Shores Drive.

Deputies arrived to find four people suffering from gunshot wounds. A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead in the parking lot, while three additional victims were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.

According to investigators, two groups had been playing softball when a disturbance occurred and moved into the parking lot. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire.

Authorities identified two suspected shooters and were interviewing them as part of the investigation. Firearms were also recovered at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. No arrests were confirmed in the information provided.
