LOCATION: Area north of Palm Avenue and Verdemont Drive
AREA/CITY: San Bernardino
DETAILS:

  1. One person is presumed dead after a small plane crashed into the hillside in the area north of Palm Avenue and Verdemont Drive in San Bernardino.
  2. A 911 call reported a plane crash at around 8:18 PM on April 13, 2024.
  3. First responders responded to the area and could not access it immediately due to the weather.
  4. After the weather cleared, a helicopter flew over the scene and located a large debris field.
  5. San Bernardino PD has established a command post.
  6. The plane is believed to be a 1984 Gulfstream with a tail number of N965BC.
  7. According to FlightRadar24, the plane took off from Stockton Metropolitan Airport with a destination to Chino Airport.
