Dramatic Car Rescue After Crash | Jaws of Life Extraction | Barstow Incident

CITY: Barstow
DETAILS:

1. CHP first on scene finds car wrapped around metal utility pole
2. Engine 311 arrives on scene and requests Jaws of life and extraction tools
3. Battalion 147, arrives on scene, request helicopter be on standby.
4. Medic Engines 401a and 401 arrive with Jaws of life and saws
5. Medic Rescue 402 arrives
6. Roof of vehicle is removed.
7. Dash and door is removed.
8. Patient is removed and taken to waiting ambulance.
9. Injuries turn out to be minor.
10. Transported to local Hospital
11. Truck Driver and passenger reported no injuries.
12. CHP Barstow investigating
