Pedestrian Stuck and Killed on 101 Freeway | Ventura

09.28.2021 | 12:32 AM | VENTURA – CHP Ventura officers responded to report from a motorist stating they had struck an unknown object on the southbound lanes of the 101 Freeway at the SR-33 interchange.

Officers checked the area and found a person down in the center divide.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It is unclear if the motorist was the first party to strike the victim with their vehicle.

The driver cooperated with officers during the investigation.
