12.27.2020 | 2:15 AM | HOUSTON-HIGHLANDS – HCSO along with Highlands Fire Department responded to a reported submerged vehicle in the area of Independence Pkwy and Lakeview Dr.

Upon arrival they found a black Jeep submerged in the bay with 3 people coming out of the water. Two of the three people in the vehicle were transported for precautionary reasons.

The vehicle crashed into the water after the driver over corrected. Unknown if alcohol or speed played a factor in the crash. No injuries were reported.
