Thousand Oaks: Package Prompts Hazmat Response At Amazon Warehouse

05.11.2020 | 10:58 PM | THOUSAND OAKS – A package containing chlorine prompted a hazmat response at a Amazon warehouse, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a chemical fire at the Amazon warehouse located in the 2400 block of Conejo Spectrum Street around 10:58 PM.

Crews arriving on scene learned that a package containing chlorine and another substance had caught fire and self-extinguished.

The package was removed from the building and isolated while hazmat teams ensured the facility was safe.

No injuries were reported.
