Semi Fatally Rolls Over Pedestrian in VONS Parking Lot | Echo Park

10.04.022 | 1:02 AM | ECHO PARK – Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision in the VONS grocery store parking lot at 1354 N. Alvarado St.

First responders located a victim down in the parking lot, not conscious and not breathing.

The victim was pronounced deceased by LAFD paramedics.

It appears the semi may have rolled over the pedestrian, and LAPD officers were inspecting the semi for evidence.

The driver remained at the scene and was complying with officers.

It is unclear how the semi driver hit the pedestrian in the parking lot.

LAPD is on scene investigating and the coroner is enroute to the scene.
