Overnight Looting and Protest in Paramount
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: Sunday, 6/8/25 at Approx. 2:00 am
LOCATION: Alondra blvd & Atlantic Ave
AREA/CITY: Compton, CA & Paramount CA
DETAILS:
- Looting occurred at the AMPM gas station at the corner of Alondra Blvd & Atlantic Ave.
- The worker was terrified after civilians broke in, he stated “you can take everything, just please don’t hurt me.” and had to watch every item be looted, while officers at the corner just watched the looting as well.
- Cash register, lotto scratchers, cases of beers, cases of twinkies, redbulls, monsters, cigarettes, and many items in the store were looted.
- From observation, there was even a civilian selling cigarette boxes after he looted them from the gas station, while others passed out beer bottles as well to drink and throw them at law enforcement officers on scene.
