LACoFD Station 164 Goes Up In Flames
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-1-24 4:00am
LOCATION: Clarendon Ave and Santa Fe Ave
AREA/CITY: Huntington Park
DETAILS:
- Witnesses say that people driving by stopped when they saw flames coming out of the station and went banging on the firehouse doors trying to warn firefighters sleeping inside at the time.
- LACoFd got knocked down at about 5:10 am.
- Unknown number of firefighters that were inside of the building at the time of the fire.
- A number of vehicles also were destroyed including a fire engine, fire truck, squad, and a battalion chief suburban truck. A total of 4 vehicles.
- No known injuries at this time.
- Some firefighters did not get to put on any gear because of the flames and they can be seen putting water hoses on the fire hydrants.
