3 Detained After Pursuit in San Bernardino

DETAILS:
- On August 17th, 2024, at about 12:25 AM, CHP attempted to make a stop on a white Honda sedan for high speed.
- The suspect initially pulled over but pulled away from officers as they approached the vehicle.
- A pursuit was initiated, and after driving at a high speed on surface streets near 28th Street and F Street, the suspect hit a dip and damaged the front of his vehicle.
- Officers lost a visual of the vehicle for a short time.
- They relocated the vehicle near North Pershing Ave, South of West Marshall Boulevard, as the suspect was attempting to flee in a Toyota pickup with two other people.
- All three males were detained at the scene, and the driver was arrested.
