Young Woman Killed In Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Collision | Mead Valley

11.12.2022 | 6:04 PM | MEAD VALLEY – California Highway Patrol Riverside and Cal Fire Riverside County Mead Valley responded to multiple reports of vehicle vs a pedestrian traffic collision. When they arrived they found one pedestrian down, she was pronounced deceased on scene by paramedics and a vehicle that had major damage. They also found the driver of the vehicle that hit her, injured, they were transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries. At this time we are being told by a CHP, on scene that the pedestrian was a young woman under the age of 21 who was possibly being dropped off at a house party. At this time it appears that she was possibly crossing the road or on the side of the road when she was fatally struck. The vehicle that hit her was reportedly speeding when the collision occurred.
