Young Man Gunned Down Outside Houston Apartment Complex

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on June 8, 2026, Harris County Precinct 4 deputies responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment complex in the 14300 block of Ella Boulevard in Houston.

According to investigators, a caller reported hearing multiple gunshots and finding a male suffering from gunshot wounds outside the complex.

Witnesses attempted to provide medical aid until emergency crews arrived, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Authorities identified the victim only as a Hispanic male in his early 20s. Investigators said he did not live at the complex and was visiting someone at the time of the shooting.

Witnesses told deputies they may have seen as many as three suspects, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, but no official suspect descriptions have been released.

Homicide investigators spent several hours interviewing witnesses and processing the scene as they worked to determine what led to the deadly shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
