Young Boy Struck While Riding Illegal E-Dirtbike, Long Beach, CA

DETAILS:
- A couple in white sedan hit a child/minor riding a electric dirt-bike on Willow Ave
- The rider did have on a helmet but video shows bleeding from face and head
- After striking the E-Bike, the bike slid into a man sitting on the sidewalk at Chestnut & Willow
- Both the child/minor (looks about 12y old in back of ambulance) and the man sitting were transported by LB paramedics to the hospital with non life threatening injuries
- The father of the child/minor was at scene
- Dad was told by police it was illegal for his son to be riding the electric dirt-bike and that it would be impounded
- The father says he told the child not to ride it
- Footage shows the bike with “foot pegs” and not pedals
- Footage shows bike being impounded
