Yahn Bernier’s Super Yacht Burglarized | San Diego

07.27.2021 | 5:00 AM | EMBARCADERO – The Captain of the Super Yacht “Lunasea” was sleeping in his quarters as were the 20 crew members when he heard someone in his office.

Thinking it was a crew member, he went into the office to find a male inside searching the office.

The Captain and crew detained the male and called for the Police. The suspect did not resist.

The crew came off the boat and then officers removed the suspect.

A search was conducted for anyone else who may have been onboard using an SDPD K-9.

No one else was found onboard.

This is the 2nd time in the last few days, that the Super Yachts have had a break-in with a boat registered from South Africa being burglarized and that suspect was also caught.

This 240′ Super Yacht is owned by Yahn Bernier, a Ferrari race car driver whose net worth is $550 million dollars. he was not on board at the time. The yacht is registered out of Bloody Bay, Cayman Islands.
