Wrong-Way Sleeper Crash | Chula Vista

10.16.2021 | 4:00 AM | CHULA VISTA – The female driver of the car apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

She was eastbound on Mt. Miguel and after falling asleep, her car crossed into the westbound lanes and threaded the needle between a traffic light and a fence, and went down the sidewalk for approx 70 yards before going head-on into a tree.

She was given the Field Sobriety test and was not DUI.

She was also not injured.
