Wrong-Way Pursuit Suspect Arrested With Gun, Body Armor | Pasadena

02.01.2022 | 2:00 AM | PASADENA – CHP Central LA officers responded to reports of a wrong way driver.

A responding unit located a white Saturn traveling northbound on the I-110 in southbound lanes of traffic.

The vehicle failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit for nearly an hour before coming to an end in Pasadena.

Officers can be seen searching the vehicle and conducting DUI tests on the suspect.

A .45 caliber Springfield handgun was recovered from the vehicle, along with body armor and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia (on video)

The suspect was placed into the back of a CHP patrol vehicle for booking.

Passing shot on surface streets once suspect exited the freeway in Pasadena, suspect can be seen hitting a dip and sparks can be seen flying from under the vehicle.
