Wrong-Way DUI Driver Crashes In Norco

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-25-25, 2:30 a.m.
LOCATION:I15 N NO / 6TH ST
AREA/CITY: NORCO
DETAILS:

  1. California Highway Patrol, Riverside Office responded to a wrong way driver that was driving southbound on the northbound 60 Freeway at Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road traveling at high speeds and swerving.
  2. Multiple reports were coming in as the driver sped wrong way on the freeway past the Limonite exit and finally crashed into another vehicle on the I-15 north just north of the 6th Street exit.
  3. The victim driver was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.
  4. The wrong way driver was suspected of being under the influence and given field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
