Wrong Way Crash Sends Two To Hospital (Caught On Camera) | San Bernadino

 

12.6.22 | 10:22 PM | San Bernardino – At least 2 people were transported with serious injuries after a major head on collision including a third vehicle rolled over on Highway 18.

At around 10:22 PM first responders were dispatched to reports of traffic collision.

Within minutes the call was immediately upgraded to a traffic collision with extrication.

When first responders arrived on scene they found 3 vehicles blocking all up bound lanes.

A red pick up truck had flipped over on its side, and another pick up truck had collided head on with a mini SUV.

A witness had stated that he saw the grey SUV before the collision.

It was stated that the grey SUV was in the turn lane to go up bound attempting to do a u-turn and drive down the up Bound lane.

Witness said that he tried to stop the car as it was u-turning and yelled to stop or he was going to cause an accident.

It was also confirmed that the occupants of the red truck witnessed the grey suv driving directly towards the other vehicle.

Two victims needed to be transported with serious by unknown injuries after being pulled from the severely damaged vehicles.

The incident caused a prolonged shut down of both sides of highway 18 The other victims of the incident miraculously appeared to be unharmed.

The cause of the incident is under investigation and it is unknown if drugs or alcohol was involved.
