Woodland Hills: Hazmat Investigation At CHP Office

02.23.2020 | 2:00 AM | LOS ANGELES – A hazmat team responded to a California Highway Patrol office and one person was seen being treated, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to a hazmat investigation at the West Valley CHP officer located in the 5800 block of Desoto Avenue in the Woodland Hills area around 2:00 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located one person and a vehicle that had been exposed to an unknown substance.

Officers on the ground were advised to stay away from the vehicle and to quarantine the person.

The circumstances surrounding the hazmat call was unclear and no information was immediately available.
