Woodland Hills: Fire Burns Through Strip Mall

12.20.2019 | 3:07 AM | LOS ANGELES – A massive fire ripped through multiple businesses in a strip mall and caused a partial roof collapse, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a commercial structure fire burning in the 23300 block of Mulholland Drive in the Woodland Hills area around 3:07 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a single-story strip mall with heavy fire showing and began efforts to attack the blaze.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze but flames spread to at least three units and resulted in a partial roof collapse over a dry cleaning business.

The bulk of flames were doused within an hour but crews continue to extinguish hot spots.

No injuries were immediately reported and investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the massive fire.
