Woman Taken Into Custody After Reported Riverside Home Break-In
A woman was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after police responded to a report of someone breaking into a home in Riverside.
The incident was reported around 1:35 p.m. on September 21, 2026, in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Riverside police and firefighters responded to the residence after receiving a report that a suspect had broken into the home. A Riverside Police Department K9 team and air support were also called to assist.
After several minutes, officers entered the residence and located a woman inside. She was taken into custody and later transported by ground ambulance. The nature and extent of any injuries were not immediately known.
The family who lived at the residence remained outside with officers during the response and appeared visibly shaken at the scene.
No additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding the reported break-in or the woman’s identity was immediately available.
