Woman Shot Near Fullerton Park

LOCATION: 5401 La Mirada Ave & transport location is Brea Blvd and Rolling Hills Drive in Fullerton

DETAILS:

According to Lt. A.Healey, with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Norwalk station they recieved a call of shots fired at 5401 La Mirada Ave .  When deputies responded they found a group of people at a park who told them someone had been shot and a male driver had transported the female victim to the hospital in a vehicle. When they were enroute to the hospital the man pulled the car over and Fullerton Fire Department responded to the Brea Blvd. location where the female was transported to a local area hospital (UCI MEDICAL) in an unknown condition suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the abdomen. The man who was transporting her is currently being detained by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. At this time no suspects are in custody.
