Woman Severely Injured In Major 2 Vehicle Crash | Rancho Cucamonga
12.8.22 | 3:41 a.m. | Rancho Cucamonga – One female has been transported with serious Injuries after having to be extricated from her vehicle when a car collided with her already TC’d vehicle.
At around 3:41 in the morning first responders were dispatched to reports of a solo vehicle that had crashed and was blocking the HOV lane.
Within seconds in was reported that a second vehicle crashed into her car leaving both vehicles with major damage blocking the fastest lane on the freeway.
AMR arrived first on scene to find that one female was trapped inside the and not moving.
With no CHP or Fire on scene to block the freeways AMR attempted to get into the vehicle to free the woman but were unsuccessful.
Cars continued to speed strait by and through the debris nearly missing the crashed cars and the first responders.
Fire department showed up with multiple engines and a truck, strategically began creating a safer work area by blocking traffic.
The extrication took about 15 – 20 minutes and they were able to free the badly injured female.
CHP issued SIG Alert for several of the lanes as traffic continued to back up along the busy freeway.
CHP Reported that the woman had no information on her and was being transported to Pomona Valley with Major Injuries.
The exact cause of the in Incident is under further investigation and the SIG alert is still in order.
