Woman Returns Fire at Uninvited Guest | San Diego
05.29.2021 | 5:23 AM | SAN DIEGO – San Diego Police received a call of shots fired on the 300 block of Vista Horizon St.
A neighbor who heard approximately 8 gunshots stated he saw a male run away from the apartment complex where the shots came from.
San Diego Police arrived and set up a perimeter around the apartment unit. Officers made callouts to the unit.
A male and female were seen being led out of the apartment complex in handcuffs.
Officers questioned the male who turned out to be the neighbor who called the police and was released shortly after.
The female that was detained stated that an unidentified and uninvited male came to her apartment and an altercation occurred. The female said that the male pulled out a gun and shot towards the female, the female then returned fire with her own personal weapon.
The female stated that the male took off running after the shootout.
San Diego Police are investigating the relationship between the female and male and what led to the shooting.
