Woman Rescued From Riverbed After Being Swept Miles Downstream

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-25-25 / 1:58pm
LOCATION: EB 60 fwy & Fullerton Rd
AREA/CITY: City Of Industry
DETAILS:

1. At approximately 1:58 PM in the city of industry at the 60 freeway at Fullerton Road LACoFD received a call of a person inside of the river bed.
2. The Los Angeles County fire department were unable to find the person that was stuck in the water. One of their helicopters was overhead flying along the river bed channel
3. There were numerous reports from houses nearby hearing screaming coming from the river bed that’s when the LA County fire helicopter located the person in the water
4. Two helicopters were at seen and fire station 87 located the female and was able to rescue her from the water
5. They located her at workman Mill Road in the city of industry the female went approximately 10 miles from where the call started from.
6. The woman was transported to a local nearby hospital
