Woman Rescued After Being Stuck Headfirst in a Chimney | San Diego
02.20.2022 | 5:02 PM | SAN DIEGO – San Diego Police received a report of a disturbance at a house on the 5600 block of Alleghany St.
When police arrived, they found that a woman was stuck headfirst inside a chimney after attempting to enter her house.
The woman was in an altercation with her family and climbed onto the roof to gain access to the residence.
San Diego Fire-Rescue was called to help her out of the chimney as she was stuck approximately 15 feet inside.
It took fire personnel about 30 minutes to extricate the woman from the chimney. It is believed she was stuck for almost an hour.
The woman was transported to a local hospital for her injuries.
