1. HCSO and EMS responded to reports of an auto v ped
2. arriving units located a female down after being struck by a minivan, with CPR in progress
3. an off duty HPD officer came upon the crash and took over life saving measures until paramedics arrived
4. female was pronounced deceased at scene
5. driver remained on scene and attempted life saving measures, She is cooperating with the investigtion
6. prelim info– female was jay walking in a dark area when she was struck
