Woman Killed In South LA Drive-By Shooting

A woman was killed in a suspected drive-by shooting early Saturday morning in South Los Angeles.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of 103rd Street and South Grand Avenue. Authorities believe the gunfire happened around 3:00 a.m., although the exact time has not been confirmed.

According to investigators, the woman was struck in the neck. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased at her residence.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a Hispanic man wearing a red shirt who was last seen driving southbound on Grand Avenue.
