Woman Killed After Shooting Sends Car Into Building

At approximately 9:07 p.m. on June 8, 2026, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 4400 block of Lennox Boulevard in the unincorporated community of Lennox.

Witnesses told investigators they heard multiple gunshots before a Dodge Challenger carrying two occupants crashed into a nearby building.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and located two victims inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

A female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A male victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.

Investigators recovered shell casings from the area and established a large crime scene while homicide detectives processed evidence and interviewed witnesses.

Authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting and whether the crash occurred as a result of the gunfire.

The investigation remains ongoing.
