- HPD and HFD responded to reports of an auto vs pedestrian
- The call was upgraded after reports that a female pedestrian was trapped under a vehicle
- responding units arrived to find a female down under a car, after a chain reaction crash
- Female was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries
- Prelim info- White Mercedes SUV traveling SE on McGowen struck a parked car, which struck another parked car, a pedestrian and then a 4th car
- While speed may have played a factor, HPD has not determined if the driver is impaired
- Driver was transported to Ben Taub for medical evaluation, and impairment will be determined through the investigation
- The deceased female remains unidentified as of last update. She appear to have been walking around a parked car when she was tragically struck in the crash
