Woman Killed After Car Slams Into Tree and Bursts Into Flames in Houston

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1040 pm 11-26-25
LOCATION: Bellfort & Knight Rd
AREA/CITY: Houston
DETAILS:

1. HPD SW units and HFD responded to reports of a major crash with fire
2. Arriving companies located a solo vehicle on fire with a female still trapped inside
3. HFD put the fire out, but could not save the driver
4. Prelim info- vehicle was traveling Eastbound on Bellfort at a high rate of speed when it lost control, struck a tree and burst into flames
5. VCD will be looking for road debris and taking measurements to determine further
6. ME’s office will determine if impairment was a factor
