Woman Injured In Shooting At Gun Range

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 2-23-2024 | 8:24 PM LOCATION: 3828 N 28th Ave AREA/CITY: Phoenix DETAILS: Phoenix Police and Fire responded to reports of a person shot at the ‘Shooters World Phoenix’ firing range and gun shop. Police arrived and located a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder inside of the gun store. It is unclear if the woman was shooting in the firing range when she was shot. It is also unknown if the injury was self-inflicted or if she had been shot by another person. Phoenix Fire was cleared to enter the building and began evaluating the victim before transporting the woman to a local area hospital. Her injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
