Woman Found Shot To Death Inside Houston Home, Suspect Arrested
A 30-year-old woman was found shot to death inside a Houston residence Tuesday evening following a reported disturbance with a man who was later taken into custody.
On November 3, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 11900 block of Proctor Street regarding a shooting.
According to HCSO Sergeant Brown, a neighbor called authorities after witnessing a disturbance involving a 50-year-old Hispanic man and a 30-year-old Hispanic woman.
When deputies arrived, they located the woman deceased inside the residence with a gunshot wound.
Investigators located the male suspect nearby and took him into custody.
Authorities said the man and woman were not married but lived together at the residence.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
The identities of the victim and suspect were not immediately provided.
The circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting remain under investigation.
