Woman Extricated From Wreckage After Gnarly Crash | San Diego
05.07.2022 | 3:40 AM | SAN DIEGO – A white Cadillac Escalade was traveling Northbound on 11th Ave. when a red Mazda sedan traveling Westbound on Broadway ran the red light at the intersection causing a collision with both vehicles. The crash caused the woman in the Mazda to be pinned inside her vehicle. Firefighters used the “Jaws of Life” and other breaching tools to extricate the woman. The woman suffered a broken femur from the crash. A passenger from the Mazda was transported to a local hospital, their condition is unknown at this time. One occupant of the Cadillac Escalade was evaluated for her injuries. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
