Woman Extricated From Car After Pickup Truck Hits Her On Freeway | San Diego

11.28.2022 | 8:15 AM | SAN DIEGO – According to the CHP, the female driver of the car pulled onto the right shoulder on the bridge over the I-805 to check her maps. The male driver of the truck with a trailer left the traffic lane and hit the female while she was on the right shoulder. The male lost control and went approx 50-75 yards further up the freeway and flipped the truck and jack-knifed the trailer. Firefighters used the “Jaws of Life” to extricate the female who was not injured. The male driver of the truck has facial injuries but refused medical aid. His male passenger was not injured.
