- HPD and HFD responded to reports of a motor vehicle accident
- arriving officers located a female, struck by a vehicle, having lost one of her legs
- Officers applied a tourniquet before HFD arrived
- Female was transported to local trauma center, where she succumbed to her injuries later
- Prelim info- male and female were in an argument at an apartment complex not far away, and the 2 began chasing one another before crashing at this location
- Male became combative with officers and family, and was taken into custody
- It appears the male may be impaired as well
- DA’s office is on location and will determine what charges, if any will be filed
