Woman Critically Injured In Running Springs Crash
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 15, 2026, first responders were dispatched to a serious two-vehicle collision at Highway 18 and All View Road in Running Springs.
According to information from the scene, a female driver was attempting to enter Highway 18 when her vehicle was struck broadside by another vehicle believed to have been traveling at a high rate of speed.
The impact caused the woman’s vehicle to overturn onto its roof and left her severely trapped inside the wreckage.
Firefighters arrived to find the vehicle extensively crushed, with the driver suffering significant traumatic injuries.
Due to the severity of the damage, rescue crews spent approximately one hour conducting an extensive extrication operation. Firefighters were forced to cut apart both sides of the vehicle in order to safely reach and remove the victim.
Once freed, the woman was transported to a trauma center at Loma Linda University Medical Center with multiple severe injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
