Woman Critically Injured After Suspect Crashes During HCSO Pursuit
INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-17-25 / Around 10:15 pm
LOCATION: 7155 Fry Rd
AREA/CITY: West Harris County (Cypress)
DETAILS:
- HCSO deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a Jeep for a traffic violation and possibly racing.
- The adult male driver of the Jeep did not stop and a pursuit ensued.
- The pursuit lasted a short time. The Jeep crashed into a slower moving sedan that was traveling southbound on Fry Rd at the intersection of Tealbrook Dr.
- An adult Hispanic female, believed to be around 30 years of age, had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was not conscious.
- She was take by ambulance to the hospital in critical condition.
- It’s believed she will not survive.
- The adult male suspect was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and will be evaluated for possible intoxication.
- If the female succumb due to her injuries, the suspect may face murder charges.
