Woman Airlifted After Major Crash In Houston

At approximately 12:45 a.m. on May 6, 2026, emergency crews responded to a major traffic collision on the Northwest Freeway near FM 529 in Houston.

Preliminary information indicates at least two vehicles were involved in the crash. One vehicle sustained major rear-end damage in the center lanes, while another came to rest near the inside wall of the freeway overpass.

According to radio traffic, one female occupant was ejected from a vehicle and transported by Life Flight with serious injuries.

The extent of injuries to any additional occupants has not been confirmed.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
