Willowbrook: Metro Bus Crashes Into Crowded Taco Stand Killing One

09.01.2019 | 2:10 AM | LOS ANGELES – One person was dead and several others were injured after a Metro bus crashed into a crowded taco stand, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a Metro bus and five other vehicles near the intersection of South Alameda and East 131st streets around 2:10 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a Metro bus that had collided with approximately five vehicles along with a taco stand.

Firefighter paramedics treated at nine victims on scene and pronounced another deceased.

Some 10 patrons were aboard the bus at the time of the crash but all were uninjured.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
