Whittier: Two Found Dead Inside Travel Trailer

10.28.2019 | 10:43 PM | WHITTIER – Two people, including a possibly missing person, were found dead on the bed of a travel trailer, late Monday night.

Authorities responded to conduct a welfare check on the occupants of a travel trailer parked in the 7000 block of Elmer Drive around 10:43 PM.

Units arriving on scene were unable to make contact with anyone inside the trailer and cleared the scene.

Shortly later officers re-responded after a relative reportedly accessed the trailer and discovered to individuals deceased inside.

Officers re-responded and pronounced both victims deceased on scene.

One of the victims was reportedly a critically missing person out of the city of Downey.

The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain under investigation.
