Whittier: Nearly 75 Cars Vandalized, Man Shot By Suspect With BB Gun

01.23.2020 | 9:00 PM | WHITTIER – About 75 vehicles were damaged and one person was injured by a suspect armed with a BB gun, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to numerous locations in Whittier and La Habra regarding reports of vehicles with their windows shot out around 9:00 PM.

One caller reported he was struck by the suspect who was using what appeared to be a BB gun to shoot at vehicles.

Officers arriving on scene located numerous vehicles with damage consistent with being shot by a BB gun.

The man who was struck by a BB suffered only minor injuries and refused transport to a hospital.

The suspect was described as being bald and driving a grey Honda sedan.
