Whittier: Investigation Underway After Man Stabbed To Death, Possibly By Step-Son

04.18.2020 | 9:46 PM | WHITTIER – An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed to death by a suspect described by neighbors as his step-son, Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing at a home in the 14000 block of Tedemory Drive around 9:46 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male down in front of a home suffering from a stab wound to his chest.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the victim to USC Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

A suspect who neighbors described as being the victim’s step-son was found about 200 yards away from the scene of the stabbing and taken into custody without incident.

The circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing is under investigation.
